Research interests

  • plant tissue culture, morphogenesis in vitro and micropropagation
  • the influence of heavy metals on plants and plant cells in in vivo and in vitro conditions (tolerance mechanisms and cell response; regeneration of tolerant genotypes; influence on biosynthesis of cyclic peptides - cyclotides)
  • mechanisms of programmed cell death (PCD) induced by abiotic stresses (e.g. heavy metals)
